Hi! It’s been a while! I’ve been working on developmental edits for the novella I’m going to publish and also working on a critique of a short novel that I wrote. As you can see by the changed header on my main page, I’ve set a goal date for publishing my novella – February of 2021. It’s closer than I think! The novella is a sci fi adventure type story. I hope it can find it’s audience! Things are looking up, writing wise!

Haven’t updated in a while. To be fair, I haven’t done much in a while. My mental health is not the best right now. Still, life trundles on. I got back some developmental edits on my scifi novella and am excited to start working on that piece again. I’ve decided to go the self publishing route with that. Many reasons, but it’s an exciting time. Hopefully will have more in the next update!

Well, still waiting to hear back from people. Fun times! I am keeping myself busy by not sleeping properly. Also by working on my side of the critique. I’m really liking the story my Critique Partner wrote. It’s YA fantasy, very good worldbuilding. Also applied to be a street team member for a book launch by an authortuber I really admire! Exciting! I don’t have a large platform yet, but I’m working on it! Hopefully I will have more news soon!

Well, submitted a short story to a publisher – I’m so glad there are indie publishers who accept short stories and novellas! Now for the hardest part – waiting. I’m waiting to hear back on the novella I submitted, and am waiting for feedback from a critique partner. All this waiting has me a bit antsy. Hopefully I’ll have good news to share soon!

Well, still waiting for a reply from the publisher – fingers crossed! I’ve finished the first draft of my novel and it’s with a critique partner right now. Waiting is always the hardest part! Not much else to report – I am building my novella world on WorldAnvil right now because I want to write more in that world and want to have all my information at my fingertips – such a handy website!

Oh man, writing is so much fun, but putting it out there is hard. I’ve submitted a novella to an indie publisher and am awaiting their response, and I’m working on a novel. So much anticipation! I’ve been watching a lot of writer advice on Youtube and there’s so much good stuff out there. I really hope to update this site with my work soon!
